Abstract
Polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)is a complex endocrine and metabolic disorder involving genetic and environmental factors,characterised by androgen overproduction,ovarian dysfunction and polycystic ovarian morphology,which can lead to menstrual dysfunction and even infertility in women.With the change of lifestyle,the incidence of PCOS is increasing year by year,and the trend is younger.Currently,the interventions of Western medicine for PCOS are medication and surgery,but the efficacy of Western medicine is limited and there are adverse reactions,and long-term treatment cannot be adopted by patients.Under the guidance of the basic theories of Chinese medicine,Chinese medicine is able to analyse the information of the four diagnostic systems of PCOS patients in depth,so as to carry out precise dialectic treatment,which demonstrates its unique advantages and values.This study reviews the TCM etiology and pathogenesis of PCOS,the mechanism of action and efficacy of TCM treatment.关键词
