Abstract
Objective To explore the application effect of targeted health education program combined with psychological support in postoperative rehabilitation of adolescent idiopathic scoliosis(AIS)patients. Methods A total of 100 AIS patients who received surgical treatment at the Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University from March 2021 to March 2023 were included and divided into an observation group(50 cases)and a control group(50 cases)by envelope random method. Both groups received comprehensive nursing and psychological support, while the observation group received additional targeted health education. The postoperative recovery, psychological state, pain degree and Cobb angle of the two groups were analyzed and compared. Results The observation group had better mobilization time, postoperative hospitalization time, and postoperative blood transfusion rate than the control group(all P<0.05).Compared with the same group on the day before surgery, both groups showed a decrease in self-evaluation scores for anxiety and depression on the seventh day after surgery(all P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the observation group had lower scores on the seventh day after surgery(all P<0.05).Compared with the same group on the day before surgery, both groups showed an increase in Visual Analogue Scale score on postoperative days 1,2,and 3(all P<0.05).Compared with the control group during the same period, the observation group had lower scores(all P<0.05).Compared with the same group before surgery, both groups had smaller Cobb angles at 1,3,and 6 months after surgery(all P<0.05).Compared with the control group during the same period, the Cobb angles in the observation group were smaller(all P<0.05).Conclusion Providing targeted health education programs while providing psychological support can promote postoperative recovery, improve the psychological state of AIS patients, alleviate postoperative pain, and be beneficial for maintaining the long-term effectiveness of orthopedic surgery.关键词
