Abstract
Objective To explore the occurrence of gastrointestinal symptoms in patients with advanced colorectal cancer during postoperative chemotherapy, and to analyze its influencing factors, and summarize nursing methods. Methods A total of 136 patients with advanced colorectal cancer admitted to Nantong Tumor Hospital from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected and their clinical data were retrospectively analyzed. All patients have undergone surgical treatment for colorectal cancer.A self-made questionnaire was used to investigate and analyze the general information and physiological indicators of the patients.Univariate and logistic regression models were used to analyze the main influencing factors of gastrointestinal symptoms during postoperative chemotherapy, and corresponding nursing strategies were formulated. Results Among 136 patients with advanced colorectal cancer,84 patients experienced gastrointestinal symptoms during postoperative chemotherapy, with an incidence rate of 61.76%.Univariate analysis showed that age, body mass index, preoperative nutritional status, preoperative intestinal symptoms, surgery time, intraoperative bleeding, ascites, psychological status, and other complications were all associated with the occurrence of gastrointestinal symptoms(all P<0.05).Multivariate analysis showed that age, preoperative nutritional status, preoperative intestinal symptoms, ascites, and other complications were all influencing factors for gastrointestinal symptoms during postoperative chemotherapy in patients with advanced colorectal cancer(all P<0.05).Conclusion Patients with advanced colorectal cancer have a higher risk of gastrointestinal symptoms during postoperative chemotherapy, among which age, preoperative nutritional status, and preoperative intestinal symptoms are all influencing factors.Clinically, targeted nursing measures should be developed for patients based on relevant influencing factors.关键词
