Abstract
Objective To explore the current status and influencing factors of professional self-concept among obstetric and gynecological nurses.Methods A total of 200 obstetric and gynecological nurses from multiple hospitals were selected through convenience sampling from March to May 2023,all of whom were female.The professional self-concept scores of all obstetric and gynecological nurses were recorded and analyzed,and the clinical baseline data of all nurses were summarized.First,a univariate analysis was conducted,and then indicators with significant statistical differences were selected based on the results of the univariate analysis.Then,a multivariate logistic regression analysis was conducted to screen for independent risk factors affecting the professional self-concept of obstetric and gynecological nurses.Results The total score of professional self-concept for obstetric and gynecological nurses was 84.41±15.98 points,and the overall self-concept situation was good.The univariate results showed that the professional self-concept scores of obstetric and gynecological nurses who were aged≤30 years,engaged in nursing work in obstetrics and gynecology for 1～5 years,professional choice influenced by family members,and having 1～3 night shifts per week were all lower,and the data showed statistical differences(all P<0.05).The multifactorial results showed that age≤30 years old,1～5 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology nursing,professional choice influenced by family members,and 1～3 night shifts per week were all independent risk factors affecting the professional self-concept of obstetric and gynecological nurses.The data showed significant differences in statistics(all P<0.05).Conclusion Age≤30 years old,1～5 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology nursing,professional choice influenced by family members,and 1～3 night shifts per week are all independent risk factors affecting the professional self-concept of obstetric and gynecological nurses.In clinical work,relevant intervention strategies can be given based on the above results to further enhance the professional self-concept of obstetric and gynecological nurses.关键词
