Abstract
Objective To explore the application effect of oxygen therapy flow rate adjustment combined with temperature management in patients with acute hypoxic respiratory failure.Methods A total of 136 patients with acute hypoxic respiratory failure who visited the Respiratory Department and Intensive Care Medicine Department of Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital Group Suqian Hospital from March 2021 to March 2023 were selected as the research subjects.Convenience sampling was used to divide them into two groups of 68 patients each.The control group received low flow nasal cannula oxygen therapy combined with temperature management intervention based on routine nursing,while the study group received high flow nasal cannula oxygen therapy combined with temperature management intervention based on routine nursing.Blood gas analysis indicators,immune factor indicators,duration of hypoxemia,oxygen inhalation time,hospitalization time,and incidence of adverse events were compared between the two groups.Results After 1 day of intervention and at discharge,the arterial oxygen saturation,arterial oxygen partial pressure,helper T cell 1 and cell 2 concentrations in the study group were higher than those in the control group at the same time.The arterial blood carbon dioxide partial pressure and the trigger receptor-1 concentration expressed by myeloid cells were lower than those in the control group at the same time(all P<0.05),and the levels of the above indicators in both groups were better than the day before intervention(all P<0.05).The duration of hypoxemia,oxygen inhalation time,and hospitalization time in the study group were shorter than those in the control group,and the overall incidence of adverse events in the study group was lower than that in the control group(all P<0.05).Conclusion Implementing heated high-flow nasal cannula oxygen therapy for patients with acute hypoxic respiratory failure can help improve their blood gas analysis indicators and immune levels,correct their hypoxemia,reduce the occurrence of adverse events,and shorten hospitalization and oxygen inhalation time.关键词
