Nursing care of a patient with respiratory depression caused by methadone overdose
摘要
Abstract
This article introduces the case nursing care of a refractory cancer pain patient with advanced liver cancer and multiple metastases who experienced poor pain control after high-dose hydrocodone sustained-release tablets and anticonvulsants and had liver function abnormalities in the Pain Rehabilitation Department of Jiangsu Cancer Hospital in May 2023.Respiratory depression occurred during on-demand methadone conversion.This case aims to help clinical nurses better understand the manifestations of drug overdose during methadone conversion,and learn how to cooperate with physicians during first aid and how to cope with adverse reactions of opioids.关键词
