Discussion on the Treatment of Primary Immune Thrombocytopenia Using the Method of Fortifying the Spleen,Tonifying the Kidneys,and Purging Fire Based on the Theory of"Inhibition Following Natural Trend"
摘要
Abstract
Primary immune thrombocytopenia(ITP)is an autoimmune hemorrhagic disorder caused by excessive immune-mediated platelet destruction or insufficient production,leading to a reduction in platelet count.The underlying pathogenesis involves spleen and kidney deficiency as the root,and fire damaging the blood vessels as the tip in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM).Due to the insufficiency of the"inhibition"function of the spleen and kidney,unchecked hyperactivity of deficiency fire and internal fire leads to disorder and dysfunction of the blood vessels.Therefore,the formulae should aim to"assist inhibition"and"follow the natural course of the condition."This paper discusses the theoretical connotation of"Unchecked hyperactivity causes harm,and inhibition controls the hyperactivity"in the treatment of primary ITP,based on the concept of"inhibition following natural trend".It emphasizes that by fortifying the spleen,tonifying the kidneys,and purging fire,the inherent forces of the body are activated,promoting the harmony of organs and balance of yin and yang,thus mitigating the excessive harm within the body.关键词
