中医药基于Nrf2/HO-1信号通路治疗代谢功能障碍相关脂肪性肝病的研究进展
The Nrf2/HO-1 Pathway:A New Mechanism for the Treatment of MASLD by Traditional Chinese Medicine
摘要
Abstract
Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)is one of the most common chronic liver diseases worldwide, with a complex pathogenesis closely related to oxidative stress, inflammatory responses, and lipid metabolism disorders. As understanding of this disease deepens, recent consensus statements recommend updating the exclusionary definition of NAFLD to the inclusionary term Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease(MASLD).MASLD more accurately reflects the multifaceted interactions of genetic, environmental, and metabolic factors, providing a more inclusive perspective on the disease's definition. This shift emphasizes the central role of metabolic dysfunction in the pathogenesis of the disease, aligning the definition more closely with current understanding of its pathophysiological mechanisms.Through the review and analysis of relevant literature,we have found that traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has significant therapeutic effects in improving MASLD.Particularly,by targeting the Nuclear factor erythroid 2 related factor 2(Nrf2)/Heme oxygenase-1(HO-1)signaling pathway,TCM can effectively regulate the body's antioxidant stress response, reduce oxidative stress and inflammatory reactions, and improve lipid metabolism disorders in liver cells, thereby slowing the progression of MASLD.Studies have shown that active components of Chinese medicinal herbs such as baicalin and ginsenosides can activate the Nrf2/HO-1 pathway, playing roles in antioxidant,anti-inflammatory,and anti-fibrotic activities.关键词
