Imbalance and Balance:Form and Force in Cantilever Architecture
摘要
Abstract
Contemporary architectural design is based on the diversified development of structural technology and material technology.The application of cantilever operation and the expression of cantilever construction have been expanded from local small-scale use to the control of huge architectural elements.Starting from the dialectical logic of the beauty of"imbalance"of form and the force of"balance"of structure,the mutual stimulating relationship between cantilever structure and architectural form is deeply analysed through the research of relevant design ideas and techniques,clarifying the expression of the form and force of cantilever architecture,and excavating the logical connotation and technical motivation of cantilever structure behind the cantilever form.The research focuses on the two angles of"form"and"force":the beauty of"imbalance"form is mainly reflected in the continuation of urban context,suitable use of functions,integration into the site environment,and strengthening the view of the landscape;the structural force of"balance"is mainly reflected in the truss structure leading,cable system intervention,solid structure control,building a new platform,composite structure integration.关键词
