Analysis of the Reinforcement Plan for the Walls of the Art and Sports Building in the Old Campus of Hangzhou International Studies University

Abstract
The art and sports building of the old campus of Hangzhou Foreign Studies University is a masonry structure built in the 1960s.According to the safety appraisal and seismic appraisal results,the compressive and shear bearing capacity of the wall seriously does not meet the requirements of the appraisal standards.The safety rating of the building appraisal unit is Du level,and the seismic first and second level appraisal results show that the structure needs seismic reinforcement.A comprehensive comparison was made on several methods of wall reinforcement,and two additional surface layer reinforcement methods,namely slab wall reinforcement and high extension concrete reinforcement,were selected for calculation and analysis.Through calculation,it was found that the use of slab wall reinforcement in low-strength mortar masonry structures significantly improves the compressive bearing capacity compared to the shear bearing capacity.High tensile concrete reinforcement has a better effect on improving the shear bearing capacity than on improving the compressive bearing capacity.When using slab wall reinforcement,the seismic comprehensive capacity index does not fully reflect the influence of changes in slab wall concrete and steel reinforcement,and additional experimental research is needed.关键词
