摘要

Abstract

The Ti/Al dissimilar metal composite structure can fully utilize the superior properties of different materials and effectively reduce weight,presenting broad application prospects in the manufacturing of aerospace and weapon equipment.In this paper,friction stir welding experiments were conducted on 2A14 aluminum alloy and TC4 titanium alloy,and the in-fluence mechanism of different interface structures on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the joint was ex-plored.The results show that plastic deformation of the material occurs at the titanium/aluminum lap interface,and the inter-metallic compound TiAl3 phase is generated.The flat structure is mainly metallurgical and there exist micro-mechanical in-terlocking structures.Both the rectangular structure and the dovetail structure can achieve"metallurgical connection+multi-scale mechanical connection",and the two structures exhibit secondary fracture in the tensile shear test.Among the three in-terface structures,the joint of the dovetail structure possesses higher joint strength and elongation.Compared with the joint of the flat structure,the strength of the dovetail structure is increased by 85.05%and the elongation is increased by 61.92%.
