Abstract
In order to meet the performance requirements of laser narrow gap wire filler welding joint for titanium alloy thick plate,the welding test of 80 mm thick TC4 titanium alloy was carried out using the swing laser narrow gap wire filling welding technology.The microstructure and mechanical properties of the welded joint were analyzed.The results show that when the laser power is 6 kW,the defocus is+10 mm,the welding speed is 0.6 m/min,and the wire feeding speed is 3 m/min,the weld is well formed.The metallographic test results show that the welding wire has good fusion and no interlayer or sidewall fusion defects have been found.The microstructure of the weld zone consists of coarse β columnar crystals with obvious grain boundaries,and the intragranular structure consists of acicular martensite α'+intergranular β phase.The structure of the heat affected zone exhibits a clear transitional morphology.The hardness of the weld zone is higher than that of the heat affected zone and the base metal zone,and a low hardness zone appears in the heat affected zone.The hardness from the root of the weld zone to the surface of the weld varies from decrease to increase to decrease.The tensile test results show that the average tensile strength of the joint is 956 MPa,with excellent mechanical properties.关键词
