Abstract
Chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG)is one of the common diseases of the digestive system,and its onset is closely related to the weakness of the spleen and stomach,stagnation of Qi,phlegm dampness,and blood stasis.Residing in the Middle Jiao,the spleen and stomach are the pivots of the ascending and descending movement of vital Qi,which is related to the onset of digestive system diseases when this movement is impaired.CAG affects the stomach,involving the liver and spleen,with its key mechanism involving the impaired ascending and descending functions of the spleen and stomach,which can be further divided into spleen and stomach weakness,disordered ascending and descending movement,Qi stagnation in Middle Jiao,failure of stomach Qi to descend,phlegm-dampness obstruction,impaired ascending and descending function,blood stasis,and obstruction of the stomach collaterals.Prof.Shen emphasizes tonifying and dispersion in treatment,proposing that deficiency should be tonified to replenish the spleen and benefit the stomach,and stagnation should be dispersed.To disperse stagnation,detailed treatment methods include soothing the liver and regulating Qi,eliminating phlegm and dissolving dampness,and dissolving blood stasis and unblocking the collaterals.Through both tonifying and dispersion,the ascending and descending movement of the vital Qi of the spleen and stomach can be regulated,and the balance is restored,achieving therapeutic efficacy.关键词
