Abstract
Scientific analysis of regional carbon emissions is conducive to achieving carbon emission reduction goals as soon as possible.Based on the STIRPAT model,this paper conducts a regression analysis of the statistical data of Guangdong Province from 2000 to 2019 and concludes that regional GDP,energy consumption intensity,secondary industry output value,invention patent authorization and total import and export of goods all have positive effects on carbon emissions,with elasticity coefficients of 0.067,0.405,0.195,0.071 and 0.133 respectively.The analysis results show that the increase of these variables promotes the increase of carbon emissions.Therefore,while vigorously developing the regional economy,Guangdong Province should adjust its industrial structure,reduce the proportion of the secondary industry containing backward technology in the total economic volume,and support the research and development of green technology and the development of green economy.关键词
