摘要

Abstract

With the rapid development of nanomedicine technology,sonodynamic therapy(SDT),as an emerging non-invasive therapy method,has gradually become a research hotspot due to its ablility to effectively treat deep tumors while causing minimal damage to surrounding tissues.Sonosensitizer is an indispensable component in the SDT,as their structure and properties directly determine the efficacy of SDT.Compared with the traditional organic sonosensitizers,inorganic metal sonosensitizers offer advantages such as higher stability,controllable morphology and long circulation time in the human body,which greatly extend their research applications in SDT.The possible mechanisms of SDT were briefly investigated,i.e.,cavitation effect and generation of reactive oxygen species.The formulation designs,anti-tumor mechanisms and optimization strategies for treating tumors of inorganic metal sonosensitizers were summarized,and the current challenges and future development directions of SDT were discussed.It is expected to provide a reference for the future screening of inorganic metal sonosensitizers in SDT.
