Latent profile analysis and influencing factors of successful aging of elderly people in rural areas

Abstract
Objective:To explore the latent profile of successful aging of elderly people in rural areas and analyze its influencing factors.Methods:A total of 297 elderly people in rural areas in Weinan city,Shaanxi province were selected as survey subjects by stratified convenience sampling from January 2023 to April 2023.A general information questionnaires,the Social Isolation Scale in older adults,Spiritual Intelligence Scale,Successful Aging Inventory,and the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale were used for investigation.The categories of successful aging of elderly people in rural areas was explored through latent profile analysis,and the influencing factors of categories of successful aging of elderly people in rural areas was explored through Logistic regression analysis.Results:The score for successful aging of elderly people in rural areas was(40.12±7.14)points,which can be divided into three latent profiles,included high level successful aging and high psychogenic group(68 cases,22.9%),moderate level successful aging and high psychological factors group(190 cases,64.0%),and low level successful aging and weak aging group(39 cases,13.1%).The results of Logistic regression analysis showed that social isolation,mental intelligence,and resilience were potential influencing factors of successful aging of elderly people in rural areas(P<0.05).Conclusions:The successful aging of elderly people in rural areas is at relatively low level and there was group heterogeneity.Nursing staff should develop intervention strategies based on the characteristics of elderly people in rural areas to promote their successful aging.关键词
