Abstract
Objective:To investigate the quality of life(QOL)of elderly patients after oral implant restoration and explore its correlation with self-care and social support.Methods:A total of 310 elderly patients who underwent oral implant restoration and were hospitalized in the stomatology department of our hospital from January 2021 to January 2023 were surveyed using a general information questionnaire,the Mos 36-item Short Form Health Survey(SF-36),the Exercise of Self-Care Agency Scale(ESCA),and Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS).Results:The quality of life scores of 310 elderly patients undergoing oral implant restoration were relatively low,the self-care score was 63.31±3.68,and the social support score was 33.22±4.15.Correlation analysis showed that the total QOL score and scores of all dimensions were positively correlated with the total self-care ability score and total social suppor score(P<0.05).Conclusions:Elderly patients after oral implant restoration have a moderate level of QOL,suboptimal self-care ability,and limited support,and there is a correlation among the three.Therefore,relevant nursing staff can develop corresponding intervention strategies to improve the QOL of elderly patients after oral implant restoration.关键词
