Dehydrogenation process of 1,4-butanediol to γ-butyrolactone
摘要
Abstract
γ-butyrolactone(GBL)was synthesized through the selective dehydrogenation process of 1,4-butanediol(BDO)using a Cu-based dehydrogenation catalyst with proprietary intellectual property rights.A possible reaction pathway and the physicochemical properties of the catalyst were investigated through GC-MS,XRD,SEM,N2O chemisorption,et al.The effect of reaction conditions on the catalytic performance of BDO dehydrogenation was also examined.The results indicate that multiple products are generated in the BDO dehydrogenation process.Under an N2 atmosphere at 220℃and a space velocity of 1.5 h-1,the reaction is optimal with a BDO conversion rate of over 99.9%and a GBL selectivity of 98.8%.After 448 h,the performance of the catalyst remains stable.Furthermore,the used catalyst exhibits nearly identical crystal structure as well as similar microstructure compared to the fresh catalyst.There is no obvious growth in Cu particle size observed.The Cu-based dehydrogenation catalyst has excellent and stable dehydrogenation performance with high market competitiveness.关键词
