Research progress of indoles in reproduction system
摘要
Abstract
There is growing evidence that gut microbes and their metabolites play an important role in disease susceptibility and response to diet in different individuals.Indoles produced by gut microbes metabolizing tryptophan can function as a signaling molecule,and this metabolite influences immune homeostasis by binding to aromatic hydrocarbon receptors,as well as possesses anti-inflammatory,antioxidant,and antitumor properties in the somatic circulation and,in turn,influences the compositional structure of gut microbes.In recent years,there has been a growing interest in these gut microbe-derived indole metabolites in reproductive disorders.Therefore,this article provides a review of the progress of research on indole analogs related to the reproductive system.关键词
