Abstract

With the continuous increase in passenger and cargo volume in the Boten-Vientiane section of China-Laos Railway,transportation production organization faces more challenges.Based on the current situation of the transportation production organization of the Boten-Vientiane section,this paper analyzed problems existing in transportation production of the Boten-Vientiane section,such as insufficient transportation capacity,insufficient locomotive operation and maintenance,insufficient port station capacity,and insufficient facilities and equipment configuration.In order to solve these problems,field investigation and calculation were carried out,and the paper encouraged to promote the expansion of capacity transformation and enhance the point and line capacity.It also proposed to increase locomotive configuration and optimize locomotive application;improve port capacity and alleviate port congestion;strengthen facilities and equipment and release the capacity of yards and stations,and other measures to optimize the transportation organization of the Boten-Vientiane section.It has far-reaching significance to explore the transportation organization potential of the Boten-Vientiane section and improve the quality and efficiency of railway passenger and freight transportation,providing a useful reference for the steady operation and volume increase in China-Laos railway international combined transportation.
