摘要

Abstract

With the driving force of various high bandwidth and low latency business scenarios,50G PON,as the next generation op-tical access network,can provide 10 Gigabit rate access and microsecond level low latency services,greatly enriching various applica-tions.Based on this,starting from the evolution of PON technology,this paper analyzes the current status of two PON technology stan-dards in the current network,the characteristics and application scenarios of 50G PON,as well as the pilot situation of 50G PON carrying capacity.It also analyzes and compares the coexistence methods of different technical standards for 50G PON,10G PON,and 1G PON,and proposes suggestions for the next step from the aspects of application scenarios,wavelength selection,and deployment rhythm.
