Abstract
Objective To analyze the influencing factors of dental caries in children.Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted on 710 children who received physical examination at Yuzhong District Maternal and Child Health and Family Planning Service Center in July 2023.They were divided into non-caries group and caries group according to their dental health conditions.The oral health habits and family information of the two groups were collected.The dental caries in children were analyzed by univariate analysis and multivariate logistic regression analysis.Results Among the 710 children included,329 were boys,accounting for 46.34%,and 381 were girls,accounting for 53.66%.A total of 372 children had caries,the incidence of caries was 52.39%.There were significant differences in gender,fossa closure,parental education level and family monthly income between the two groups(P<0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that gender,fossa closure,mother's education level and family monthly income were independent factors influencing dental caries in children(P<0.05).Conclusion Dental caries in children are affected by gender,fossa closure,mother's education level and family monthly income.关键词
