Effect of individualized nutrition counseling in early pregnancy on maternal and infant outcomes

Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of individualized nutrition counseling in early pregnancy on maternal and infant outcomes.Methods A total of 344 pregnant women who were registered in early pregnancy in Xi'an People's Hospital from February 5 to March 10,2020 were selected and divided into control group(106 cases)and observation group(238 cases)according to whether they received individualized nutrition counseling.The control group was given nutrition education in large classroom,and the observation group was given individualized nutrition counseling on the basis of the control group.The weight gain,cesarean section rate,adverse pregnancy outcomes,complications and adverse neonatal outcomes were compared between the two groups.Results The value of increase of body mass index and weight gain during pregnancy in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the standard rate of weight gain was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of gestational hypertension,postpartum anemia,oligohydramnios and cesarean section rate in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of macrosomia,low birth weight and premature birth between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The implementation of individualized nutrition counseling in early pregnancy can increase the attention of pregnant women to weight management,thereby reducing the incidence of complications,cesarean section and the incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes.关键词
