Abstract
Objective To analyze the diagnostic value of procalcitonin(PCT)combined with sepsis risk calculator for neonatal early onset sepsis(EOS).Methods From June 2022 to June 2024,a total of 108 neonates hospitalized in Department of Neonatology,Shenzhen Children's Hospital were selected as the study objects,with EOS neonates as the experimental group and neonates with non-infectious diseases as the control group.Clinical data of the two groups were retrospectively analyzed,and the risk of EOS was assessed using the neonatal early onset sepsis risk calculator(NEOSC),and receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was plotted to evaluate the diagnostic efficacy of NEOSC and PCT.Results There were 54 cases in the experimental group and 54 cases in the control group.Compared with the control group,the experimental group had a higher NEOSC score and a longer hospital stay(P<0.05).Compared with the control group(1.85%),the total complication rate of the experimental group(27.78%)was higher(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the experimental group had a higher PCT level(P<0.05).ROC curve showed that PCT+NEOSC had the highest efficacy in the diagnosis of neonatal EOS,with an area under the curve of 0.972,specificity of 90.81%and sensitivity of 97.32%.Conclusion In the diagnosis of neonatal EOS,PCT+NEOSC has high specificity and sensitivity,good diagnostic efficacy,and high predictive value,which can provide basis for early recognition and treatment of neonatal EOS.关键词
