Retrace the"Journey to the West":The Transformation and Communication of Fine Traditional Chinese Cultural IP in Black Myth:Wukong
摘要
Abstract
Digital game is a burgeoning medium of cultural communication,which provides a new path for the transformation and communication of fine traditional Chinese cultural IP.Through the case study of 3A single-player game Black Myth:Wukong,this paper discusses the creative transformation and innovative communication of fine traditional Chinese cultural IP represented by Journey to the West in the game media.The success of Black Myth:Wukong is related to the classic,empathic and intermedia characteristics of Journey to the West IP.In Black Myth:Wukong,the transformation of Journey to the West IP adopts the avatar image of Sun Wukong,the interactive narrative mode of"retracing the Journey to the West"and the game scene that integrates the real and the virtual.The communication of Journey to the West IP is mainly through the interactive path for the youth group,the omnimedia mode of industrial integration and the cross-cultural strategy based on the global perspective.关键词
