摘要

Abstract

Objective To understand the current situation of"patient-centered medical service quality of primary care phy-sicians and its influencing factors,and provide a research basis for the improvement of"patient-centered"medical service quali-ty of primary care physicians.Methods An on-site survey was conducted using the standardized patient method from March 2021 to December 2022,which included 194 items of physician-patient communication data generated by 194 physicians and 9 stand-ardized patients from 194 primary care facilities.Physician demographic characteristics and consultation information were collected from the surveyed organizations.A Chinese version of the Patient Perception of Patient-Centeredness-CN(PPPC-CN)was used to assess the impact of patient-centeredness on the quality of healthcare services using a multiple linear regression model.The factors were analyzed using multiple linear regression models.Results The mean score of"patient-centeredness"was(2.75±0.51),with an overall lower level.The lowest mean score(2.41±0.58)was for the dimension of Exploring the Disease Expe-rience,while the highest mean score(2.94±0.58)was for the dimension of Understanding the Whole Person.The mean score for the dimension of enhancing the Physician-Patient Relationship and Searching for Consensus was(2.70±0.67)and(2.90±0.51),respectively.The median consultation time was 7.00(5.00,10.00)minutes,the median waiting time was 3.00(1.00,11.00)minutes,and the median number of questioning entries was 8.00(6.00,11.00).The results of multiple linear regres-sion showed that the number of consultation entries,waiting time,doctor's age,and province were the factors influencing the quali-ty of"patient-centered"healthcare services(P<0.05).Conclusion The quality of"patient-centered"medical services pro-vided by primary care doctors still needs to be further improved.It is recommended to strengthen the professional training of prima-ry care doctors on"patient-centeredness",emphazing on comprehensive consultation of patients.
