Degradation Assessment of Rolling Bearing Performance Based on Model-data-fusion

Abstract
In the process of pitting fault failure of rolling bearings,the estimation of fault defect size is the key for bearing performance degradation assessment.This paper proposed a rolling bearing performance evaluation method based on model-data-fusion,to solve the difficulty to quantitatively estimate the degradation size of local defect.Firstly,based on the Hertz's nonlinear contact theory and time-varying displacement excitation function,a 2-DOF dynamic model of deep groove ball bearing under the influence of elasto-hydrodynamic lubrication was established.Secondly,the amplitude devia-tion between the simulated data and the real data of the dynamic model was corrected.Finally,the Fault Size Evaluation(FSE)algorithm was proposed to estimate the fault size during the full life degradation of rolling bearings,and verified by the experimental data of ABLT-1Z bearing life strengthening test machine.The experimental results show that the proposed model-data-fusion method can quantify the degradation rule of local defect size of bearings and evaluate the performance degradation process of rolling bearings.关键词
