Application of AWDTW in Early Rub-impact Analysis of Rotors

Abstract
Rub-impact is a common fault in rotor systems.Aiming at the fact that the early rub-impact fault features of rotors are weak and difficult to be extracted,an angle weighted dynamic time warping(AWDTW)algorithm was proposed on the basis of improving the traditional dynamic time warp(DTW)algorithm.In the proposed algorithm,by identifying the angle between the coordinate vectors of different time series,the weighted distance of the corresponding point in the two time series was automatically calculated,and the unreasonable distortion alignment of the traditional DTW algorithm was im-proved by increasing the angle weight,so as to reduce the occurrence of"singularities"during time series matching and im-prove the alignment accuracy of the time series.The effectiveness of the proposed method was verified by the simulation da-ta and rub-impact vibration signal of rotor test bench,and the results were compared with the traditional DTW and other im-proved algorithms.It can be concluded that the proposed AWDTW method comprehensively considers the influence of coor-dinate factors,which is more conducive to the alignment and similarity measurement of time series,so as to more effectively highlight the characteristics of early rotor rub-impact failure.关键词
