Abstract
Objective:To investigate the application effect of upper eyelid skin relaxation correction in senile patients with ptosis.Method:A total of 64 patients with senile ptosis who came to Xuzhou Tongshan District People's Hospital from December 2021 to December 2023 were retrospectively selected.The patients were divided into groups according to different treatment methods,with 32 cases in each group.The control group received double eyelid surgery,and the study group received upper eyelid skin relaxation correction.All patients followed up for 3 months after surgery.The correction effect,the improvement of palpebral cleft,the degree of pain,the occurrence of postoperative complications,and the satisfaction of patients were compared between the two groups.Result:There was no significant difference in correction effective rate between the study group and the control group(P>0.05).At 3 months after operation,the height of palpebral cleft and the movement of upper palpebral margin were increased in both groups,and the indexes in the study group were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).At 1 d after surgery,the numerical rating scale(NRS)score of the two groups had no significant difference(P>0.05);at 3 d and 7 d after surgery,the NRS scores in the study group were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The complication rate of the study group was significantly lower than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The satisfaction of the study group was significantly higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application effect of upper eyelid skin relaxation correction in senile patients with ptosis is better.Compared with traditional double eyelid surgery,it can relieve postoperative pain faster,reduce the risk of complications,improve the improvement effect of eyelid cleft,improve patient satisfaction.关键词
