摘要

Abstract

Objective:To investigate the effects of water stress on the growth,physiology and effective components contents of Cynanchum stauntonii.Methods:A pot experiment was conducted to compare the growth of Cynanchum stauntonii under different soil moisture content.Results:Cynanchum stauntonii had a certain degree of waterlogging tolerance,the root weight per plant was the highest when the soil moisture content was 30%.When the soil moisture content was 50%(flooded)or drought state,the in rhizomes growth of was significantly inhibited.The contents of endogenous hormones IAA,ABA,GA3 in rhizomes and chlorophyll in leaves were significant-ly higher than CK group when the soil moisture content was 30%and 40%.Compared with the CK group,the contents of malonalde-hyde,ABA and the activities of protective enzymes SOD,POD and CAT in rhizomes were significantly increased,the contents of endoge-nous hormones IAA and GA3 in rhizomes were significantly decreased,the ratio of chlorophyll a/b was significantly increased under drought and flooded conditions.The contents of total steroidal saponins in rhizomes were the highest in the flooded state and the lowest in drought state.Conclusion:The soil with a moisture level at 30%is the most suitable to plant growth of Cynanchum stauntonii.
