Abstract

Objective:To investigate the effects of traditional decoction pieces,fresh-cut preparation and different processing methods on chemical components of Zhiqiao.Methods:The components of Zhiqiao decoction pieces were determined by non-targeted metabolomics technique combined with UPLC-Q-TOF-MS.PCA analysis and OPLS-DA analysis were used to analyze three kinds of Zhiqiao decoction pieces and find out the different components.Results:A total of 69 compounds,including 17 flavonoids,6 alkaloids,5 coumarins,17 organic acids,1 amino acid,1 quinone,and 22 other substances,were detected in Zhiqiao decoction pieces.Seven differential components including berberine,7-hydroxycoumarin,citral,naringeninchalcone,hesperidin,naringin and poncirin,were identified,among which the relative contents of berberine,7-hydroxycoumarin,and citral appeared to have a significant decrease,whereas the flavonoid components,such as hesperidin and naringenin,increased significantly.Conclusion:The chemical constituents in Zhiqiao show significant changes during the processing of the decoction pieces,among which the flavonoid constituents rise significantly,which help Zhiqiao to better exert its therapeutic effects.
