A case study and discussion of National TCM Master Wang Qi's treatment of Takayasu arteritis
摘要
Abstract
Takayasu arteritis(TA)is a rare and difficult clinical disease characterized by early onset,long course of disease,easy recurrence,high disability rate and heavy disease burden.Patients often experience both physical and mental illness,with low treatment compliance and decreased quality of life.Western medicine treatment is primarily managed by the rheumatology and immunology departments,with glucocorticoids as the foundational medication,combined with immunosuppressive agents and other drugs to improve the condition.Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)treatment focuses on different syndrome manifestations at different stages of the disease,with a patient-centered approach.This paper records a detailed case of Takayasu arteritis treated by Wang Qi,a National TCM Master,using a combination of student discussion and expert comments to summarize the clinical experience of this renowned TCM practitioner.The aim is to more efficiently pass on his academic ideas and provide references for related research in TCM case studies.关键词
