调气愈肠方治疗急性放射性肠炎热毒伤络证的临床观察
Clinical observation of Tiaoqi Yuchang Formula in treating acute radiation enteritis with heat toxin injuring the collaterals pattern

Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of Tiaoqi Yuchang Formula(Qi-Regulating and Intestine-Healing Formula)in the treatment of acute radiation enteritis(ARE).Methods A total of 55 patients were randomized into the control group(n=27)and observation group(n=28).The patients in the control group were given berberine hydrochloride tablets,and those in the observation group were given oral Tiaoqi Yuchang Formula granules in addition to the treatment in the control group.The treatment course was 2 weeks for both groups.The Radiation Therapy Oncology Group grading,Traditional Chinese Medicine symptom scores,and stool routine scores were observed before and after treatment,and clinical efficacy was evaluated.Results The clinical efficacy of the observation group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the observation group had reductions in the scores of diarrhea,abdominal pain,tenesmus,anorexia,fatigue(P<0.05),while the control group had reductions in the scores of diarrhea and abdominal pain(P<0.05).And there were differences between the two groups in the changes in the scores of diarrhea,tenesmus,anorexia,fatigue after treatment(P<0.05).After treatment,the control group had reduction in the score of examination of white blood cells in stool by routine microscopy(P<0.05),while the observation group had reductions in the scores of red and white blood cells in stool by routine microscopy(P<0.05).And there were significant differences between the two groups in the change in the score of red blood cells in stool by routine microscopy(P<0.05).Conclusion Tiaoqi Yuchang Formula is effective in treating ARE,significantly improving clinical symptoms and quality of life in patients.关键词
