摘要
Abstract
Multiple system atrophy(MSA)is a rare and fatal neurodegenerative disorder characterized by autonomic dysfunction,Parkinsonism with poor response to dopamine,and cerebellar symptoms.The key pathogenic mechanisms of MSA are the depletion of yang transforming into qi and the insufficiency of yin forming substance.The deficiency of both yin and yang is a significant factor in the disease's progression and development.Treatment should focus on the dual supplementation of yin and yang.To do so,Wenshen Jiannao Formula(Kidney-Warming and Brain-Fortifying Formula),an original prescription,was proposed,which could tonify kidney yang,benefit essence,and nourish the brain.In addition,it is essential to preserve the body's vital qi to harmonize yin and yang,ensuring nourishment of the brain marrow.This paper introduces the diagnostic and therapeutic approach to MSA based on the concept of"yang transforms into qi,while yin constitutes form,"along with medication experiences,supported by clinical case studies.关键词
