摘要

Abstract

Mitophagy is a crucial mechanism within cells for maintaining mitochondrial homeostasis.In recent years,due to its close association with immune homeostasis and gut health,mitophagy has become a focal point in animal nutrition research.Numerous molecular mechanisms regulating mitophagy have been reported,providing new approaches to better understand the process of mitophagy,its role in maintaining mitochondrial function,and overall cellular homeostasis.This paper reviewed the cutting-edge research on the molecular mechanisms of mitophagy,discussed its role and the interconnected pathways between mitophagy and immune homeostasis,gut health,and summarized the current studies on compounds that regulated autophagy.The aim is to offer insights for further research on mitochondria-centered regulatory mechanisms.[Chinese Journal of Animal Nutrition,2025,37(3):1424-1435]
