摘要
Abstract
Areca nut is a traditional Chinese medicine,containing a variety of active substances such as areca nut and betel nut polyphenols,and it has many functions including antioxidant,anti-inflammatory,inhibition of microbial activity,improvement of digestive enzyme activity and promotion of bone growth,etc.,which can improve animal health and improve animal performance.This review summarizes the main active sub-stances in areca nut and their physiological functions,in order to provide a reference for the wide application of areca nut in animal production.[Chinese Journal of Animal Nutrition,2025,37(3):1527-1538]关键词
