Big Data Application,Innovative Factor Allocation,and Labor Productivity of Manufacturing Enterprises

Abstract
Big data application can promote the restructuring of enterprise production methods and provide driving force for manufacturing enterprises to improve labor productivity.Taking Chinese manufacturing listed companies from 2013 to 2021 as the re-search object,the paper employs a panel two-way fixed effects model for empirical testing,and finds that big data application can significantly promote labor productivity in manufacturing enterprises,and the regression results remain robust after a series of ro-bustness and endogeneity tests.The mechanism analysis result indicates that big data application promotes labor productivity in manu-facturing enterprises by optimizing the allocation of innovative factors.The heterogeneity analysis results indicate that there is hetero-geneity in the impact of big data applications on labor productivity in manufacturing enterprises,with non-state-owned enterprises,large-scale enterprises,capital intensive enterprises,and enterprises in eastern regions having a greater promoting effect of big data applications on labor productivity.This paper unveils the mechanism through which big data application enhances labor productivity in manufacturing enterprises,offering a theoretical foundation and practical insights for boosting labor productivity in manufacturing enterprises.关键词
