Progress on Low Temperature Storage of Canine Sperm
摘要
Abstract
Low temperature storage has been widely used in artificial insemination of dog semen,effectively promoting genetic exchange between excellent dog breeds.During low-temperature storage,the changes in temperature,pH value,and osmotic pressure can cause oxidative stress and cold shock of sperm,seriously affecting the quality and fertilization rate of dog sperm.In recent years,anti-cold and antioxidant substances are often added to canine semen diluent to prevent sperm cold shock,relieve oxidative stress and lipid peroxidation.The present situation of dog semen cryopreservation at home and abroad is reviewed in this paper,which provides scientific references for the efficient preservation of dog semen,the protection of dog germplasm resources and the promotion and application of artificial insemination technology.关键词
