Effect of Outpatient Rehabilitation Health Education Intervention on Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders

Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of rehabilitation health education intervention on children with autism spectrum disorder(ASD).Methods A total of 84 cases of children with ASD aged 4-8 years in a hospital from May 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the research object,and were randomly divided into observation group and control group with 42 cases in each group.The observation group received outpatient rehabilitation health education intervention,while the control group received general routine health education.The Childhood Autism Rating Scale(CARS)and Autism Treatment Evaluation Checklist(ATEC)were used to compare and analyze the intervention effect of the two groups.Results After 12 weeks of intervention,the total effective rate of the observation group was 83.33%,which was significantly higher than 52.38%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The CARS and ATEC scores of the observation group were significantly lower than before the intervention at 4 and 12 weeks,and the analysis of variance of repeated measures data showed that the main effects of the intervention were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Outpatient rehabilitation health education intervention can effectively improve the status of children with ASD,and the intervention effect is significant,which is worthy of promotion.关键词
