Abstract
Objective To understand the level of health literacy and its influencing factors of residents in Huaxi district of Guiyang city,and to provide basis for formulating health promotion strategies.Methods A total of 1 060 residents in Huaxi District were selected by multistage and stratified random sampling,and household surveys were conducted with the National Health Literacy Monitoring Questionnaire compiled by the National Health and Wellness Commission.Results The overall level of health literacy of residents in Huaxi District reached 35.09%,and the health literacy level of safety and first aid(54.43%)was higher.The literacy rate of residents with different ages,marital status,education level and occupation was statistically significant(P<0.05).Age and education level are the influencing factors of residents'health literacy.Conclusion The health literacy of residents in Huaxi District is in the middle level,and there are differences among different categories of residents.Therefore,targeted health education should be strengthened to improve the health literacy of residents.关键词
