Investigation on Current Situation of Infectious Diseases Management at Primary and Middle Schools in Hongkou District of Shanghai

Abstract
Objective To understand the current situation of infectious disease management in primary and secondary schools in Hongkou District of Shanghai,and to provide the reference for further development of relevant countermeasures.Methods A total of 69 primary and secondary schools registered in Hongkou District in 2020 were checked on the spot and questionnaire survey was carried out.Results The establishment rate of infectious disease management system in primary and secondary schools was 100%,and the relevant measures for infectious disease prevention and control were implemented according to the system.Health care rooms were set up in all the surveyed schools,and 63.8%of the schools were equipped with full-time health care teachers.The equipment configuration of the health care room was not complete,and the configuration rate of sterilization equipment was only 36.2%.The proportion of schools who had canteens was 92.8%,and students'lunch was mainly in canteens(88.4%);98.6%of the school drinking water sources were mainly from the municipal centralized water supply;the food and drinking water hygiene can meet the safety requirements.Conclusion The prevention and control of infectious diseases in primary and secondary schools in Hongkou District is generally in good condition.It is suggested to focus on the insufficient allocation of professional health technicians in schools and the incomplete allocation of health care facilities.关键词
