Design of Rate-compatible Spatially Coupled LDPC Codes
摘要
Abstract
In this paper,a rate-compatible spatially coupled low density parity-check(SC-LDPC)codes construction meth-od is proposed,which achieves rate compatibility by means of an extended matrix.In this paper,the information bits are kept un-changed and the check bits are expanded.The progressive edge-growth(PEG)algorithm is used to generate the mother code ma-trix,and the extended matrix is constructed using part of the matrix in 5G.Based on this,the non-zero elements of the matrix are as-signed values by the algorithm to eliminate short cycles as far as possible.Simulation results show that the proposed rate-compatible SC-LDPC codes have a certain improvement in decoding performance compared with the PEG-constructed LDPC codes of the same rate and block length,especially at high rates,the coding gain is improved significantly.关键词
