Abstract
The advancement of urbanization not only optimizes the use of land resources and enhances residents'living environments but also significantly impacts people's lifestyles and raises a series of public health issues.The influence of the built environment of communities on residents'behavior and health levels has become a focal point of research.Since the implementation of the Healthy China strategy,promoting health through environmental factors has become a crucial element in the development of healthy communities.This paper,based on the aforementioned research background,expounds on the theories related to health promotion and their application in urban planning.It constructs a framework for planning and designing high-density communities from a health promotion perspective and integrates several exemplary practical cases such as Groningen in the Netherlands,Tampines in Singapore,and Canadian design guidelines.The strategies and specific approaches for constructing healthy communities are summarized into three major aspects:the provision of health services,the promotion of healthy lifestyles,and the management of health risks.This paper suggests that the construction of communities from a health promotion perspective should comprehensively consider various environmental factors of the community to address public health issues through planning and design,thereby creating healthy,livable,and comfortable urban communities.关键词
