Abstract
The forms of historic block buildings serve as interactive interfaces between urban architecture and the larger spatial environment.A well-designed lighting environment enriches these spatial interfaces,enabling people to better perceive urban spaces and the environmental contexts they embody through the interplay of light and shadow on building interfaces.By recognizing the patterns of light and shadow,individuals gain a clearer sense of spatial orientation within the physical environment.Moreover,dynamic connections between spatial interfaces and the emotional resonance of light and shadow can inadvertently evoke deeper,richer psychological responses,ultimately elevating the experience to a level of spiritual pleasure.Based on the analysis of architectural lighting environment designs in the historic urban blocks of Haining Xiashi,Shaoxing Keqiao,and Hangzhou Qinghefang,this paper explores varied design strategies tailored to the unique historical contexts of different blocks.It also discusses the significant role of thoughtfully composed light and shadow combinations in evoking profound historical associations and emotional connections within urban historic blocks.关键词
