Special Forest Project in National Key Research and Development Program-Empowering Innovation of Wood Processing Industry

Abstract
China is the world's largest manufacturer,consumer,and trader of wood-based materials and products.In response to the demands for high-quality products,the special forest project of National Key Research and Development Program of China(NKRDP)has coordinated and deployed innovative research tasks,established a project implementation mechanism with application scenarios and problem orientation as the goal,integrated the entire industry chain,gathered forces for original and leading scientific and technological research,broke through key core technologies,created major products,and carried out large-scale industrialization demonstrations in enterprises to ensure that project research results are accurately met with the industry's needs.Through research projects,the technological innovation ability and comprehensive competitiveness of enterprises are enhanced,leading to the green and high-quality development of the wood processing industry and comprehensively improving the level of industrial modernization.This paper reviews the progresses in the wood and bamboo processing field under the NKRDP,analyzes the current technological level and development opportunities in China's wood and bamboo processing industry,providing scientific support for the technological innovation and green transformation of the wood and bamboo processing industry,as well as reference and inspiration for the modernization development of the forest industry and the technological transformation and industrial upgrading in related fields.关键词
