两种北美栎树基本密度的径向变异及预测研究
Study on the Radial Variability and Prediction of Basic Densities in Two North American Oak Species

Abstract
This study focuses on the standing trees of Quercus shumardii and Q.nigra,which were introduced from overseas.Growth cones were used to collect wood cores.The basic density and radial variation patterns were analyzed.Additionally,the Resistograph was employed to predict the basic density from different wood sections in Q.shumardii and Q.nigra.The findings revealed that the annual ring width of Q.shumardii and Q.nigra exhibited a decreasing trend from the pith to the bark,while the basic density increased in the same direction.The Resistograph effectively assessed the basic density of Q.shumardii and Q.nigra respectively.Notably,the accuracy of the fit was highest for wood located closest to the bark,with correlation coefficients of 0.821 and 0.743,respectively.This research provides a theoretical foundation for the efficient assessment of basic wood density in Q.shumardii and Q.nigra.关键词
