Abstract

Aiming at the research of gas-liquid two-phase flow in centrifugal pump,the influence of inflow gas volume on the gas-liquid two-phase flow patterns in the impeller of centrifugal pump,as well as the pump performance and internal flow characteristics under various flow patterns were re-viewed in detail.The influencing factors of gas-liquid two-phase flow patterns in centrifugal pump were analyzed,including the geometric structure,size,rotation speed,flow rate,and other aspects of the pump.The experimental research methods of gas-liquid two-phase flow in centrifugal pumps were de-scribed.Focusing on the non-invasive experimental technology,the principles and characteristics of high-speed photography and process tomography imaging technologies were discussed in detail.The ap-plication status and development prospects of the two experimental technologies in gas-liquid two-phase flow in centrifugal pumps were compared.The numerical simulation methods of gas-liquid two-phase flow were summarized.At present,most of them are based on Euler-Euler two-fluid model,and under the influence of bubble development and multi-scale characteristics,some new numerical calculation models are developed.It improves the prediction accuracy of gas-liquid two-phase flow numerical si-mulation in centrifugal pumps.Considering the detailed characteristics of two-phase flow is the develop-ment direction of flow simulation.Finally,the methods to improve the performance of centrifugal pumps under the condition of gas-liquid two-phase flow were summarized.
