Abstract
This paper focuses on the bending deformation of PV modules under low temperature environments.Fnite element analysis software ANSYS is used to simulate,the bending deformation of PV modules under different environmental temperatures,frame materials,and trame structures.The simulation results show that as the environmental temperature decreases,the deformation of PV modules with aluminum frames increases significantly,with the deformation primarily concentrated at both ends of the PV modules.At an environmental temperature of-40℃,the overall deformation of PV modules with 35-frame(frame cross-sectional thickness of 35 mm)is slightly greater than that of modules with 30-frame(frame cross-sectional thickness of 30 mm).Furthermore,at an environmental temperature-40℃,PV modules with polyurethane frames exhibit less deformation compared to those with aluminum frames,making polyurethane a preferred frame material for PV modules in severe cold regions.关键词
