摘要
Abstract
The application of left ventricular assist device(LVAD)has transformed the treatment of patients with end-stage heart failure,enabling more patients to survive until heart transplantation and providing better quality of life and extended survival for those who are not eligible for transplantation.Although this technology has brought significant benefits and the technology of the equipment is constantly improving,the use of LVAD is still associated with the risk of neurological complications,among which ischemic stroke has the highest incidence.Despite the lack of clear guidelines for the assessment and treatment of this complication,early identification and timely intervention may help improve the neurological outcomes in these patients.This review provides information on the pathophysiology,risk factors,prevention and treatment of ischemic stroke in patients with LVAD implantation,aiming to assist clinical practice.关键词
