Digital Transformation of Manufacturing Enterprises:An Integrated Analytic Framework and Research Outlook

Abstract
With the advent of the digital age and increasing competition among enterprises,digital transformation has become an essential pathway for manufacturing companies to gain competitive advantages and achieve high-quality development.This study focuses on the digital transformation of manufacturing enterprises,systematically reviewing and organizing relevant research in this field.An integration analysis framework centered on scenarios is proposed.First,the concept of digital transformation in manufacturing enterprises is deeply analyzed from the perspectives of technology,capability,institution,and knowledge,elucidating its essential characteristics.Second,using scenarios as the research unit and based on a causes-process-results framework,three core topics are distilled,research on influencing factors of digital transformation,mechanism process research,and performance and impact studies.An integrated analysis framework is constructed on this basis.Finally,relying on the Chinese context,future research topics on the digital transformation of manufacturing enterprises are suggested from the perspectives of research subjects,viewpoints,and existing core issues.In light of the flourishing research in digital transformation within manufacturing and the remaining research gaps,this paper aims to further deepen and expand the relevant studies,providing ideas and references for future research.关键词
